For the first time in the ten years I have been married I finally have a dinning room! Before, we just had a kitchen table shoved against the window and refrigerator in the kitchen; the area was too small to actually sit down. The table was a hand me down from Joshes parents; who got it also as a hand me down from Joshes father's parents; who got it as a hand me down and left it on the front porch to get rained upon.
For ten years we ate on T.V. trays which managed to hold up just long enough for us to move into the house. If you were not careful, the legs would separate and your food would fall on the floor; which was a hand me down rug from my parents to cover up the used, old, stained carpet in the apartment living room/dinning room/ Joshes office.
There were a lot of benefits to me finishing school before buying a home and trying to get pregnant; one I never considered was that I would be too busy to notice what I was living in...people always say you do not notice what you have until it is gone, I say; you never really notice how bad it was until it is over and you move on.
